A Little Sign Goes A Long Way
My wife and I have eaten dinner at Atlanta Bread Company many times. It is only two spaces down from the local UPS store. Yet if someone had asked me, “Do you know where the UPS store is?” I wouldn’t remember. Until the day I recently snapped this picture.
Because of a little sign that made my wife and I both smile, we won’t forget where it is. It’s such a little thing. But we both engaged with the sign to some degree. There was an emotional reaction that solidified the UPS store in our minds.
It makes me think about one of the sayings I tell my kids.
“Going the first mile is expected. The real blessings (benefits) come in going the second.”
